About the Project
As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiatives within Misk City, the Riyadh Schools Group commissioned Köda for a comprehensive furniture package for Riyadh Schools Misk City. Designed to foster a sustainable, future-ready learning environment, the project focuses on student well-being and collaboration. Köda created an adaptable interior framework to transform classrooms and common spaces into high-performance hubs for future leaders.

Design Approach
Embedded in the development cycle 6–7 months before construction finished, Köda collaborated closely with the project team rather than acting as a simple supplier. Upgrading standard tender specifications, Köda designed a well-being-focused framework of adaptable workspaces. The package integrated modular pods, flexible desks, and breakout furniture to replace rigid, traditional seating layouts. This approach enabled dynamic classroom configurations while reclaiming underutilized corridors and transition spaces as active zones for peer collaboration and independent study. The resulting layouts seamlessly support diverse teaching methods, from direct instruction to group work, maximizing the functional potential of the entire campus footprint.
